The Soifass were founded in October 1999 in Berlin as a pure fun oi-punk band. It soon became clear, however, that we didn’t want to play simple oi-punk with dull lyrics. And so it turned out that, in addition to Viktor’s serious lyrics, we also wrote more sophisticated music that deviated from the usual dull oi-punk pap. Lyrically, a lot of it is about normal life, but also about problems that exist in our subculture. Musically, we try to mix Oi with light metal and rock influences, but we don’t miss out on melodic punk either.
