MasterSchulz, Denial, little green marsmachine and Sonnenschein Thea, alias DOUBLEWIDE, have been an integral part of the Dresden music scene for more than a decade –on stage, at the bar, as tireless supporters of everything that roars and clatters. With ‘Summon The Unearthly’, the quartet now presents its new long player.

Catchy, driving grooves meet fat desert rock and powerful growls. It’s as if Chris Barnes has made himself comfortable in the Corrosion of Conformity rehearsal room and is rummaging through old Kyuss and Motörhead records with his new musical allies. However, that’s only one side of DOUBLEWIDE. Slow, monolithic doom that brutally rolls through your ear canals, but also dark, quiet moments with hypnotic, clean vocals complete the multifaceted sound spectrum.

SecondDeath

Seconddeath is an old-school death metal band that has made a name for itself since 2005 with raw power, German lyrics and uncompromising riffs. The guys roll across the stage with classic death metal sound, no frills, but with a lot of heart and soul. Seconddeath don’t just play – they destroy.
