The Farewell Youth Fest will take place for the first time from 20.06 to 22.06.2025 in Dresden. National and international artists will perform on very small stages to create a very intimate atmosphere. The Farewell Youth Fest aims to combine the unique, informal and alternative flair of Dresden Neustadt with regional and international acts. Anyone who only associates Dresden with baroque chic, postcard idylls and Schwubler clubs is completely wrong.
In six clubs, all within walking distance of each other in the Gründerzeit district of Neustadt, you can experience bands that are far too big on surprisingly small stages.
A total of over 45 acts from punk, emo, HC, garage rock and prog will do the honours at the Farewell Youth Fest. Three jam-packed days of music and lots of surprises for visitors, bands and residents – a festival for good friends, old acquaintances and acquaintances who have become friends. So no more ‘friends turned acquaintances’, as the Menzingers say, more like saying goodbye to the youth and welcoming them back.
