Brutally chaotic yet strictly disciplined – WORLD PEACE from San Francisco have been causing a stir with their unique low-end chaos since the release of their debut album “Come and See” in 2020. A guitarless double bass assault paired with drums that can only be described as relentless form the sonic backdrop for what is arguably the band’s most compelling feature – the Christian mysticism they explore in their lyrics. A quick glance at the band’s song titles and merchandise reveals a distinctive, deliberate imagery that sets them apart from their contemporaries and has undoubtedly contributed to their success thus far. After touring over 100 shows across four continents in support of their second album, “It is Written,” WORLD PEACE shows no signs of slowing down and is already hard at work on a collaborative album as well as their third album. Previous tours with bands such as Portrayal of Guilt, Uniform, Nails, and The Body have shown that WORLD PEACE is one of the strongest forces in progressive heavy music today.
